HOCKEY -- Club Hockey (AAA)
The MAC Refund Policy is in place as a result of the type of seasons our teams participate in. They are certainly fun, but the season's plans are made well in advance of the actual events. As a result of the timing within the various activities such as: any Youth or High School teams, tournaments, pre-planned events, camps or clinics, the Minnesota Athletic Club has a general policy of no refunds. The MAC has a non-refundable fee of $500 regardless of the scenarios listed below. In cases where a participant has a doctor-documented injury (not illness) that prohibits participation in an event or on a team, the MAC allows for the following refunds after approval: Prior to March 1, 50% of paid dues will be refunded. Prior to June 1, 20% of paid dues will be refunded. Refunds will be paid within 30 days of notification as outlined below. The following process must be followed for a refund of any amount to be considered: First, the participant shall request a refund in writing prior to the dates listed above. The request must contain a written note by a doctor as to why participation is not possible. NOTE: The MAC is under no obligation to locate a substitute participant, but will try to find an appropriate player to fill the vacated spot.
