We are excited to share more context regarding Rich Limpert’s recent appointment as Head Women’s Lacrosse Coach at Palm Beach Atlantic University and what this opportunity means for Minnesota Athletic Club.

Most importantly, Rich is not leaving MAC. He will continue in his leadership role, remain actively involved with our athletes, coaches, and overall program, and continue serving as Head Coach of our 12U Black team.

We believe this opportunity will make MAC even stronger. Rich’s connection to an NCAA Division II program will expand our collegiate network, provide our coaches and athletes with additional insight into player development and the recruiting process, and create new opportunities for collaboration and growth.

Rich’s selection reflects the experience, leadership, and respect he has earned throughout the lacrosse community. His career includes serving as Head Coach of the University of Minnesota men’s lacrosse team, decades of coaching and competitive success, and induction into the Minnesota Lacrosse Hall of Fame. We are proud that the same expertise that made him an outstanding candidate for this collegiate position will continue to help guide MAC.

The quality and experience of a club’s leadership have a meaningful impact on every athlete’s development. Rich’s continued involvement with MAC, combined with the relationships and perspective he will gain at the collegiate level, represents a significant advantage for our players and coaches.
