2027 AAA Tryouts
Welcome to MAC Hockey! We aim to provide a consistent and competitive place to play, while keeping a reasonable schedule that can accommodate your athlete's other various summer activities.
Season information Below
Ages
There are tryouts for all age groups from Girls 8U through High School, and Boys 2018 through High School.
We plan to keep correct age groups together.
When
Our season will run from April 26th to September 10th.
Practices will be once a week, and will be kept to the same day each week for each specific team. The only thing that could change is adjustments for major holidays.
Practices will be in the Monday-Thursday range so families have their weekends open for other activities.
Where
All practices will be at a variety of arenas in the east metro such as: MHealth Fairview Sports Center, Cottage Grove Ice Arena and Doug Woog Arena.
All tournaments and scrimmages will be in the Twin Cities area.
Practice Days
Monday: 8U, 10U, 2016, 2017, 2018
Tuesday: 12U, 2014, 2015
Wednesday: 15U, 2012, 2013
Thursday: HS Girls, HS Boys
Each team will have their own ice, nothing shared.
Tournaments and Scrimmages
Each team will participate in 2 tournaments, one earlier in the season and one later in the season.
Each team will be able to set 6 scrimmages throughout the summer: 3 Home and 3 Away.
Jerseys and Apparel
Each player will receive a Jersey, Socks, Hoodie, T-Shirt and Shorts.
These will be ordered early so all uniforms and apparel can be distributed at the first practices.
Practice player option
We will offer a practice player option for families who wish to have their player practicing, but do not wish to commit to the tournaments and scrimmages.
You are able to participate in all practices and receive the uniform and apparel.
Prices
AAA Rostered Player: $1775
AAA Rostered Goalie: $1575
Practice Player/Goalie: $1000
(Payment plans will be available)

After Tryouts
Following tryouts, expect to receive team invites within 7 days. You would then register for the team your player made. The deadline to register after invites have been sent will be Friday October 2nd.
